On mobile phone edited photos not visible on desktop

I usually edit photos on my mobile phone to upload them on Insta etc. However, I want to have those photos on my desktop. They are not visible and I get error. What do I have to do that I can copy the edited photos on my laptop and they are visible?

    You've posted your question in a video editing software forum. 

    But, to answer your question, you can email the photo files to your desktop computer or you can plug your phone into your desktop computer and copy the files with Windows Explorer or Apple Finder depending.
