On PE 2025 default transition is applied twice

Hi,

Let me explain this:

- I have 4 clips on the timeline, C1, C2, C3, C4. I want to apply the default transitions (V+A) between C2 and C3

- I select C2 and C3 and press Shift D, normally the default video and audio transitions should be applied just once, between C2 and C3. This is how it works in PE2023.

- In PE 2025, the default transitions are applied twice: once between C2 and C3, and once between C3 and C4. This is the same if I apply only the video or audio transition (Ctrl D or Sh+Ctrl D)

Is this normal behavior, a bug or am I doing something wrong ?

(If I drag / drop the transition at the junction point, of course all works normally but I have to do it twice, once for the video and once for the audio.)
