Opacity without the Fade

I am working on a video where I want to have some of my images and videos transitions back and forth. I can achieve this by using the Opacity effect but it's including a fade in and fade out which I do not want. 

How do I turn off fades? Are there extra key frames I am missing/not doing? Or is there a different effect that I should be using?
