I am looking to open an Adobe Premiere Pro file (.prproj) in Adobe Premiere Elements, is that possible? I want to edit a video a collegue created in Adobe Premiere Pro on my laptop, using Adobe Premiere Elements, but I cannot get the file to open.

If your collegue gave you a finished MP4 file from Premiere Pro, you could easily use it as a source file in Premiere Elements.  You can't open a Pro project, but you can use the output of a Pro project as source media.

I'm not sure about Premiere Pro, but SOME subscription programs are available for a higher cost monthly fee, which you may stop at the end of any subscription month
