PE 14 Slow Loading

I had to upgrade Win 10 to V1709 but had to uninstall PE 14. Now reinstalled 14.1 but it takes 4 minutes to load. Seems that it is not finding Plug-Ins. Eventually loads and works OK. Why the delay?

Hard to say without knowing more about your computer.

However, sometimes programs like this load more slowly the first couple of times you run them, as the install components and analyze your media. It should load more quickly each time you run it.

Yes possible, but 4 minutes??? Hasn't happened in the last 20 years. It is looking for something and I suspect it will be the Plug-Ins so what are these files and where should they be? Any advice would be appreciated. Many Thanks
