PE 2022 video preview freezes

On my win10 PC the video preview freezes!

When starting PE2022 everything is fine. But after some editing, the preview don't start any more. After restart the same, some previews, then freezing again.

With PE2021 on the same PC, everything is ok??

    What kind of video are you editing?
    -hint 4k video on an underpowered computer will not play well

    You see, everything works fine with the same videos on the same computer ... with PE 2021; the problem occurs only in PE2022. Starting a project, the preview works a few times, then freezes. It's bouring, so you can not use PE2022 - but I paid for the update and I don't know, wether I should do another update to PE2023!?
