PElements and Premier Elements 2022 vs 2024 - PAN & ZOOM ??? LONG Rant, sorry!

I have a big problem with the 2022 version as it removed a bunch of my favorite features from the old versions.  Historically (v2012+/-) I would make my "signature" family/event slide shows starting in the "slide show" creation option.  It would allow me to add media and them import into the slide show creation in a random order and it would provide the ability to view all the pics and allow the ability to see a directory of all the pics and one-off reorder the pics .  Then once I had all the pics in order, on the timeline I could add effects to each pic or group of pics or all pics veary easily.  In 2022 none of these features are available - it has their canned slide show choices.  I really miss those capabilities.    But the biggest loss is the ability to add Pan and Zoom and to tweak specifically where the P&Zoom on the pic goes.  The Pan & Zoom feature in 2022 is super clunky and cannot be tweaked or applied across multiple pic slides at once.  I for one like a very subtly, very small P&Z effect.  After I have all the effects in place I would then export to Premier Elements and then tweak the entire slide show length, add music,  a spiffy menu, and then I would export - usually burning to a Blu Ray and a very high def Mp4 file.  That was perfect in the old days, except when resolution for HD went from 720 to 1080, my path of going from Photoshop Element to Premier Elements was no longer ideal because I could only make that transfer in 720.  Hence I upgraded to 2022 and found that all my favorite features in the old Elements was lost.  Now I do the whole process in Premier Elements, I cannot import media in any random manner (that sucks), Pan and Zoom is a nightmare, and the process of creating my slide show is all but impossible.  I am forced to use their canned slide show versions and that is full of bugs and the end product is terrible.  Does anybody know if the 2024 versions bring back any of these old features.  Does P&Z work better?  Short of Adobe bringing back some of the best features of the old Elements, does anyone know of another program that will give me what I am looking for?  Thanks - sorry for the lengthy rant!

Hold the phone....!  After hours on the phone with Adobe customer service, that had no idea how to tweak the Pan & Zoom.  While I was on hold for customer service while they researched, I googled and found a Steve Grisetti video on Key Framing basics https://youtu.be/9KU7CpAOfDI?si=MEOywzQkDpMJ7npL and it masterfully helped do what Adobe couldnt come close - I think that this will at least solve my P&Z issue.  Pluse I think I can copy and paste the effect accross multiple slides....  Thanks Steve - the rest of my issues are still open.
