photoshop elements organizer crashing

Hi, i had the elements 2019 version which seems not compatible with Catalina. I bought the 2020 version to find that every time i start the organizer function is crashing each time i open it. the PS editor is working.

I have elements organizer 2020 and I am unable to either backup my catalog or reconnect files. All the several attemps crash at 52-54 % phase and I havo to kill the application. I have 141 000 pictures in my catalog, is there some internal limit that prevents backup. I have a powerful computer with a lot of diskspace.
