Photoshop & Premiere Elements 9 - Installation Error 1935

Hello,

I previously installed these on my old PC, but this has died.

I have just purchased a new Windows PC (i7 processor, 8GB RAM and 512 GB).  I am trying to now install these programs from my original disc onto this new PC.

In both cases, I get as far as putting in my serial number and it begins to load, but the I get a message:  "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component" It also gives me a series of other codes after this.  The only option is to click "OK" which then uninstalls everything.

Would appreciate assistance to get this going.
