Picture size

Hello!

This might seem a silly question.

I have been transferring some holiday videos from VHS to my pc.

I use a USB 2.0 device and Honestech VHS to DVD software.

Some videos come out the full screen and some letterbox, even though I have created the video in PRE9 with the same settings. Any ideas why this is happening, please?
