Using Premiere Elements 11. Adding still JPG images from file to a project. Can add and move to correct place, and image looks OK. Then when you play the clip the image is either more blurry than original or worse pixalated. I have tried altering the pixel setting appears no different. Have I done something wrong? Would it help if I resaved image as a PSP file? Or is there something else.
What you see on your screen during editing are video previews created in "real time". You are looking at a copy of the JPEGs. Depending on the power of your computer and the type of content, the previews may be of lower quality. At output, video editing software takes the time to get it right. It reads the source files over again and should produce the quality you expect.
Previews will be affected by the project settings. If videos are used, the settings are normally established automatically. With JPEGs you might consider "forcing" a manual setting to match your monitor or your TV.
