pre-created focus frames in pan and zoom

When I try to use pan and zoom, it presents two pre-created focus frames. I can't move or resize the first one and  it is not what I want to start with anyway. How do I shut that pre-create process off and use the photo as is?

How are you creating your pan and zoom? If you're using the Pan & Zoom tool, you can use this method to override the pre-set focus frames.

Thanks for the reponse. I watched your video. That reset should cure part of the issue, but even on your video, it looks like you can't use the whole picture. It ends up cutting out the top and bottom.  On some pics, I'd rather not lose those areas, like shooting "vertical" versus horizontal photos (terminology?). I had a program a few years ago that would allow whatever you seleted including the entire photo.  Is that the default aspect ratio Element wants? Thanks again for helping this rookie.

The only way around that is to create your keyframed motion manually rather than using this fairly limited tool.
