Premere Elements 14 won't start because of incompatible display driver error

I cannot find an answer to my question so I am hoping someone can help me.  I recently purchased Adobe Premiere Elements/Photoshop Elements 14.  I installed the program, but when I try to start Premiere Elements I get the error message that "We have detected an incompatible display driver.  To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver."  I checked my drivers and they are up to date.  I searched the forums and found a post about deleting a BadDrivers.txt file, but I have no such file.  I am running Windows 7, 32 bit, the monitor is a Dell 1908WFP Digital Monitor.  The display adapter is a Radeon X600 series.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I hope i don't have to buy a new monitor.

Did you get the driver directly from the Radeon site?

    Download Drivers

You can also try rolling back to an older driver.
