I created most of my videos yerars ago down loading video from my camcorder using Premier Elements 7. If I purchase Premier Elements 2021 will I be able to access and edit my old videos that I have on file? The reason I ask is that I do not believe that Elements 2021 will recognise my Panasonic NV-GS280 Mini DV camcorder to enable me to import my original Mini DVs videos which I still have.

It is highly likely that you can edit the original raw videos if you still have them on mass storage.

It is very (extremely) unlikely that you can work with the project files from way-back-when.

Download the trial version of PE 2021 & see if you can edit your orginal source files.

@HOTELECHOMIKE Please don't call it raw files as that is completely different.

Footage capture for the Panasonic are either DV-avi or mov (mac).

If you have the original camcorder files on hard disk you can edit them in Elements.

But Elements 2021 does not let you capture (not download) any footage from tape cameras.
