Premiere 12 not opening

All of a sudden my Premiere 12 on my Mac Pro will not open; says there's an error opening it.  It was not downloaded, it was installed through the program disc I bought.  Tried the downloads online but they would not work for me either.  This error message started 4 days ago.  What is going on here?

    What video graphics card to you have?

    There was an issue last year with nVidia drivers and version 12, but it should be resolved by installing the latest driver from the nVidia site. (Which the Mac OS should do automatically -- although Sierra and especially High Sierra do seem to sabotage Adobe products.)

    Which OS do you have? Are you saying that Premiere Elements 12 worked fine until yesterday? Have you recently upgraded your OS?
