Premiere Element 12 does not launch after Adobe sign in

Question

Hello, after laptop reset I just reinstalled premiere elements I purchased in 2014. Installation is OK but at software launch I have an Adobe popup message that requests to sign in. Sign-in is OK and detected but afer the popup disappear, nothing happens. The software never launch.

I don't remember I had to sign-in when I used it before reinstallation.

Any idea ?

Elements 12 is very old. All activation servers prior to Elements 15 have been taken down.

why does adobe force us to activate premiere elements 12 but then say its too old to activate?? why dont they stand behind their products and make it soits able to activate??? either make it free so we dont have to activate it or update your servers so we who bought the software are able to use it? at the very least you should offer a nice discount to upgrade to 15 or newer if forced to. leaving us hanging is unacceptable.
