When using the Rode microphone for narration, I often got kicked out of the program and had to restart the program. Why?

Rode makes a lot of mics.  Which one are you using?  How is it connected?  What computer and operating system are you using?  How much free disc space do you have?  How much RAM?  If I know more, I will try to duplicate your situation.

Thank you for your answer. I have Rode NT-USB Windows and a lot of RAM. The program stops randomly when I use the microphone. Sometimmes it works for several minutes, next time not at all!!

..connected with USB. A lot of disc space. I think it is a problem with Premiere Element. Can there be  any "bug"? Hidden stop codon in the program???
