Premiere Elements 10 Problem

I have used Premiere Elements10 for years very successfully.

However, now when I start a new project and bring in a .MOV or .MP$ file and click on it to play it ther audio plays but not the video which makes it impossibleto edit the segment.  I am on a Windows 10 PC, could this be a computer setting or a problem with Elements 10?
