Premiere Elements 10 - Video import issues. MPeg4 Component Requires Activation - Link doesn't work

Tried importing AVI files with no success (Codec issue) ... so converted to Mpeg4 ... went to import them and came up with a screen saying 'You must activate this component in order to use this feature ... Gives a Serial Number to copy and a weblink to visit for the Unlock Key ... however ... Link is no longer valid ... any ideas how I get this unlock key ... or a solution?!

One possible solution is to install the free trial of version 2020, which will install this codec.

I moved your post to a better forum, Premiere Elements.

 

Please Edit you post to remove the Attached screen shot and Include it in the body of the text of your post.

You do that by Clicking the "More..." link at the bottom of your post, Selecting "Edit Message" and then use the "Insert Photos" icon in the tool bar at the top of the Post/Reply/Edit dialog box like this.
