Premiere Elements 12 and InstantMovie not working

Question

I have Windows 10 64-bit machine and have Adobe Premiere Elements 12 installed.

When creating a movie with two small scenes and try to make an InstantMovie, the systems hangs.

When applying the "theme" it shows the status 100% but stays there for hours....

When clicking the popup a message says "not responding".

How to solve this ?

What is your processor and how much RAM do you have? How much free, clean, freshly defragmented space is on your hard drive?

Has this feature ever worked on this computer under Windows 10?

Was Windows 10 the original operating system on this computer or did you upgrade from an older operating system? Have you installed or reinstalled Premiere Elements since this upgrade?
