Premiere elements 13 pan and zoom CHAOS

Dearest Adobe community,

I am having quite a bit of difficulties with the pan and zoom feature on premiere elements 13. Essentially anything, and I mean anything I to tell it to do it won't do. The end result is always this completely random motion path with it way to zoomed out or zoom in. It's quite frustrating. Please help me. Im desperate. Lol.
