Premiere elements 15 mac : impossible to recognize serial number

Premiere elements 15 unloaded two days ago from Adobe, payed 101 euro, received ' version ' for Mac

It's a mystery: id adobe sent me serial number and it isn't valid to activate in OS X El Captain, iMac , ram 18 G.

I've tried to install in admin and another user in the same iMac : the same mistake for serial number .

May I have another serial number to activate ? It seems it sn't incompatible.

I'm in Italy. It's the first time in many years I have a so serious hitch. It's a wast of money .

Please, somebody can help me to solve this problem?

first 4 numbers:

''1143-.....''

* impossible for me to chat in that time today and tomorrow . I'm driving a car ...

* If program does'nt work it is a waste of money ..
