Premiere Elements 2020 - Cannot Export Online

I am using the trial for Premiere Elements 2020 on a PC. I made a movie and want to try the "Export & Share" option to YouTube or Vimeo. When I select YouTube or Vimeo and then click "Begin Share" I am greeted with a grey screen and no options. Any ideas why? Is this a limitation of the trial but I do not receive an alert?

I attached a screenshot for reference.

As states by whsprague (above) & in several threads on this forum:

It is quicker and more reliable to output an MP4 file, review it and then use the host service uploader.

That is the method that I use.

"Does anyone know how to fix this?"

There is a chain of variables including Premiere Elements coding, internet connections and Vimeo or YouTube protocalls.  If all are perfect the automated upload works.  If one part has a glitch, the automatic upload fails.   It is quicker and more reliable to output an MP4 file, review it and then use the host service uploader.   It never fails and takes about the same amount of time.

Thats true, it is certainly easier to just export normally. but its nice to cut out the middle man and just upload it straight.

Tho I did notice the size of the file changes dramatically from the normal export verses exporting to youtube. I saw the bitrate was different, but is that the only reason for the size difference? And with this, should I just manually export each time just for the better bitrate?

I'm having the same issue, where it goes gray and nothing happens. I've tried restarting the app, and restarting my computer but neither have helped. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Even if you were able to use it there will be a watermark on the export file..

Best is to export to mp4 and upload manually.

Thanks. I understand there is a watermark, however, I wanted to demo the process.

Figured it out on my own. The program needed to be restarted...
