premiere elements 2021 very slow on high end PC

Hi all

I have a core i9 16 core at % Ghz CPU , 32 Gb and and rtx2080 Super

If i want to export a modified 1 hour mp4 with original size 800 Mb it takes me around 10 minutes with max CPU load

Also my GPU acceleration is greyed out (thats another issue)

Is this normal ?

A "rule of thumb" used to be one to one was acceptable. Slower meant you might be shopping for a computer. Faster meant you were good! To get 10 minutes for a one hour video would be suspected for exaggeration.

1st, your GPU is not in the supported list https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html and even if it was, it would only be used to help render the timeline for smooth playback, not for exporting

As far as your export time... I don't think that 10 minutes for one hour of video is slow
