Premiere Elements 2021 Video Corruption

Using Premiere Elements 2021.1 and videos imported from dashcam show up with a purple hue and doubled/offset frames.  The video appears normal in windows media player, VLC, on android and in the Premiere Elements save preview.  When saved the video is saved in the corrupted state.  Is there a way to correct this or is there a way to get a refund on Premiere Elements?

Video Codec Type: M/MOV H.264 4:2:0
CPU: I3-7100U

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620 (running latest drivers from Intel)

You say you have the latest drivers, but have you ensured you've downloaded the April 16 drivers from the Intel site?

If so, it could be related to the deep specs of your video, since it is not standard camcorder video. Open your MOV in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the complete report and paste it to this forum. Once we see these complete specs we'll better be able to advise you.

Thanks for the quick reply Steve.

I did install the latest drivers, which now renders the video image correctly though now the video will play for a few frames then hang with the audio contininueing to for a bit before getting choppy and hanging. Then in the lower corner the red X appears and I get an error indicating failure to retrieve frame 0 (see attachment "AdobePremiereElements2021_FrameFailure.png").

I don't see anything immediately apparent that would cause problems. But as an experiment, try converting the file to a simple MP4 using the free download Handbrake and see if you get different results.

If so, you know the issue is the video. If not, then it's definitely an issue with your video card driver.
