Premiere Elements 2022 Crash

Since I purchased PE 2022 it has not stayed operating beyond a full minute. After a few tasks, it will crash instantly. To add further frustration, when trouble shooting, Adobe asks to make sure Premiere is  to date on the Creative Cloud. For whatever reason "Premiere Elements" cannot be seen on the Creative Cloud. Only Premiere Rush and Pro are available. Everything else is up todate, what am I missing?

P.S. I know this points to another program that's on the computer, but we have Elements 2019

on here before and it was rock solid. We also have Premiere Pro 2020 on this system and it runs

fine.

You dont need to update Premiere Pro.  please provide some more information

  • Your system details
  • Steps you performed. Is it happening everytime on a particular step?
  • Type of media files you are using with the product. Is the crash media specific? Try with some other clips formats as well.
  • How frequent is the crash?
  • Did you update the Operating System recently?

You get an Adobe Crash Reporter dialog after every crash. You can submit the crash and provide your email id & steps there.

Since it is new, another choice is to take advantage of customer support through an online "chat".  https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen  They may try to connect remotely to troubleshoot.

You need to provide details for anyone to help
Mac or Windows and exact version of the operating system
CPU brand and model and clock speed
Video adapter brand and model and driver version and amount of video ram
Number and size and type of hard drives
What kind of video are you editing?
-hint 4k video on an underpowered computer will not play well
