Correct answer Ann Bens

The reason it does not show as supported is because the card has not been properly added to the allow list in the root of the program.

Go to:

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Premiere Elements\20.0\Online\Hw Acc Render\All_Lang\HW\Files\allowlisted_cards.txt

and add you card exactly like this:

NVIDIA#NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER#

I didn't save a link to post here, but I remember a discussion that having to go to the nvidia site to download an OLDER driver was required due to the way the PrE video code was written... in that a video driver from X date was used to certify the card to the internal module, and a driver from Y date would not work

Other people (I don't remember the model nvidia card) must use the newest STUDIO driver, not the game driver

-such as (this MAY not be the latest) https://www.nvidia.in/Download/driverResults.aspx/177929/en-in

Many thanks for your fast reply. I have changed the installed game driver to studio driver, the latest "472.47". Same result.

For me it is not an option to downgrade the driver. So I will not license this version. The few new features compared to version 2021 do not justify an upgrade for me. Once again. Many thanks for your post.
