Premiere Elements 2023 does not remember destination folder

Hi,

my Premiere Elements 2023 (Windows 11, 64 bit) does not remember the destination folder I use for exporting. It is set to C:\Users\*name*\Documents. When I want to export to the desktop or any other folder, I always have to click through this setting manually. Every time.

The programme is up to date. I do not find a setting for this or any other help.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

In  my experience, the program defaults to the last place you output your movie to. 

 

Is that not happening for you?

Mine is like for FotoLuke.  The destination folder for Export > Devices > Computer is not "sticky".  I think I remember that earlier versions were.
