Hi, is it possible to import a SRT file into Premiere Elements and then hardcode it to my reel?

Nothing is built into Premiere Elements to do that.  There is a relatively new procedure for subtitles in Premiere Pro.  I google searched and found some suggestions including one third party service that can work with Premiere Elements.   Try looking at https://www.happyscribe.com/add-subtitles-in-adobe-premiere-elements

Thanks Bill, unfortunately. I also saw the website you mentioned, but it was not clear to me how it actually works. Plus you have to pay for it 😞

The onine tool https://clideo.com/add-subtitles-to-video is very powerful but if there would be a way to do this for free in Adobe, I would definately prefer that. Or maybe there is a free online solution like https://clipchamp.com/nl/ that also include inserting SRT files and hardcode them to your video/reel?
