Premiere Elements 2026 new install will not run on Windows 10

I just purchased photoshop / premiere elements 2026. My computer is a dell optiplex 990 16Gb ram w/ i7 processor running windows 10 upgraded from windows 7. Elements installs but will not run. I have a good nvidia graphics card and have updated the driver. I also ran the C+ recommended update but i already had updated that. I've tried the typical restarts and un-install re-install plus uninstall all the other Adobe apps, No luck so far

I suspect I'm hosed and probably need a newer windows 11 machine...Errrrr

Any ideas ?

Sorry for the bad experience.  Windows 11 is required.   See this:  https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements/tech-specs.html

If you bought directly from Adobe and you are quick you can get your money back.   Get a refund by opening a 'chat' here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html#/top_products  .   Click on the round dialog icon in the lower right corner to start the chat session.

2026 will run on W10 but how old is this computer

Which cpu and graphics card does it hold.

I'm not sure if the Elements programs are in this list, but if so... is Win10 included?

What error message do you see?

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

nVidia Driver Downloads https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver

@John T Smith Elements is not a CC app.
