I have created a video and I want to burn a disc. The program tells me to copy the activate MPEG2 component serial number 1[removed by moderator.  This is a public forum, not a direct line to Adobe] and place it online in the activation box, which was very hard to find. When I did and was waiting for the code it said the serial number was not correct.

    That is a 10 year old version and not supported anymore.

    Bill right right. The necessary component is no longer available.

    You can try installing the free trial of version 15. That may install the component so that your version 4 will work. But otherwise, I'd expect you're not going to find support for a new installation of 12 year old software.
