Premiere Elements and DirectX 12

I am using a trial version of Premiere Elements. I exported a video but am unable to run in it in the MP4 format which it is saved.  I checked and I have DirectX 12 on my laptop. However I see a comment that DirectX 12 although installed is not yet running on Windows 10. I have no experience with this sort of thing and would be grateful for advice.

I am not sure what I was doing wrong but it appears to work out okay now.

Download the great free VLC Media Player.

Windows Media Player is pretty mediocre and doesn't play all formats well.

Thank you. I think I must have done something wrong though when I exported the video as only the title and the transition are showing. The screen remains green. I used the guide to export. I will try again and try to see what I am doing wrong.

Try updating or rolling back your video driver directly from the card manufacturer's site.
