Premiere Elements editor crashes immediately after start

I am really mad, I don't use Premiere Elements very often, but ever since I installed Photoshop and Premiere Elements 15 it crashes right after starting the editor. Organizer and Photoshop editor are running fine. What can I do?

Could you please type or copy-paste %appdata%\Adobe\Premiere Elements\15.0\logs in the Run command and and hit Enter. There should few log files created there. It would be great if you could share that log file.

Hi, thanks for your answers. Regarding the various questions:

What operating system are you using?

Windows 8.1

What processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?

Intel Core i7-4510U, 16 GB RAM, 198 GB free space on hard drive

Do you have an earlier version of the program on your computer?

No, I deinstalled the previous version prior to installing the new one

Have you tried uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it?

Yes, several times

The logfile-folder is empty, unfortunately, so I can't send any logs.
