Premiere Elements-Überblendung zeigt entfernten clip

Hallo,

Keine Ahnung, was das bedeutet.

Volker,

Rather than try to describe it, my suggestion is to watch a video done by Steve Grisetti where he explains how the tranistions work.  It may help you see what is happening.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mRHv8Q-TcY

Maybe you accidentally split the original clip into two parts and then only
deleted one part. You can check the problem by zooming in on the clips.
Then delete the remaining part of the clip

yes, I know this effect. I zoom the clip until the single frames are visible. Sometimes there are parts remaining. But this wasn't the named problem. On May 08 I wrote, that I understood the functioning of the transition. Compared with other video-software this Adobe-software has this special property.

Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the orange line above the timeline to green.

I'm not sure I understand completely.   But, if it were me, I would use a different transition.  Some transitions "blend" or mix frames from the joining clips.  Others don't.  My usual choice is "Dip to Black".   Hope this helps!  If not can you post a screen shot of your timeline?  I might better understand what you want.

thanks for your answer. It is new for me that some transitions are mixed with the cacelled clip. I have never had this effect before, I use only a few of the transitions. The following 2 Screenshots show first the transition "soft aperture" (translated from German) and second "iris diaphragm". The bicycle is the deleted clip. You know, that thees frames are only hidden and not deleted.

I am a little bit confused, as this effect is new. I can't remember to have an update from Adobe. I bought this program in july last year. From Microsoft short time ago I have several automatic updates. May it possible that the problem happens caused by Microsoft updates?
