Hello, I have Premiere elements problem with voice. I have edited VOB –files. When I add VOB-file to Premiere Elements the sound is not syncronised with video. When watching the video the audio comes little bit later than picture (video).

When watching the original VOB files with VLC the sound and the video is okay.

I received an instruction from Adobe to reinstall Premiere Elements. However, this did not help. I'm still waiting for a response from Adobe support.

John and I still recommend you use Handbrake to convert your VOBs to MP4s, per the tutorial I created.

You'll still edit in Premiere Elements. But you won't have to deal with the lag.

How much does this HandBrake lose from the original VOB file? Frame width 720 and frame height 576. For example, the duration of the video (VOB) is about 30 minutes and the size is 845 MB. After HandBrake (Fast 1080p30) the file size is 440 MB. The frame width and frame height are the same as in the VOB file.

See if the https://handbrake.fr/ open source transcoder/converter will create a file that works
