Question

Project File Size - 73K too large?

I am using APE 14.  Putting together a field hockey video.  I have a lot of video clips and pictures in the project.  But should the project file be that large?  I have done other projects before and the prel file is usually MUCH smaller.

Some other odd things - when loading it shows it is loading 67,000 files!  Lastly, quite often when I search for a clip in the Project Assets, it shows the correct clip thumbnail, but when I drag it to the timeline, it is the wrong clip.  So thinking my project file is corrupt.

By file size, do you mean the size of the .prel file? The .prel project file is just a little data file full of editing data. No media. It's usually not very large. Mine are usually somewhere between 50kb and 300kb, so 73 kb is not at all unusual.

I don't understand at all your question about loading a project that includes 67,000 files. Or your question about searching files.

Are these three separate questions or are they all related?

Thank you for the quick response!

So I had my decimal point wrong!  My file is 73,000 kb!    Sorry about that.  The other information about number of loading files and searching Project Assets was just some examples why I think my project file (yes .prel) may be corrupt.
