Question

Project will not Export

Just spent hours learning Premier Elements 11 ( i know its old) made a 25 minute movie
with Pictures, movie clips, and music. Nothing copyrighted but after all the swearing and cussing
getting it right, it will not Export. It gets to 15% then stops and  gives an Unkown error report.
I have tried removing files at that point but nothing changes, i also tried saving with different
settings but that failed also. i bought this program back in 2013 but never used it as Windows
Movie Maker seemed to make do for my video needs, it came with Photoshop Elements. Does anybody

have a clue as to why this is happening? I did not use MM for this as it does not like .MOV files.

What are the hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

I had a similar issue 4 or 5 years ago with Elements 11 on Mac. It was caused by a hardware error on hard disk drive badly managed by the software.

I switched the export destination to the internal HDD and the export finished correctly, so I re-formated the external HDD to export on it then successfully.

I would suggest to change your export destination to see if something changes.

Hi
Thanks for your Reply. I have after a few painstaking hours managed to save
it now.
But i don't know why it happened, it was one photo causing it. this photo
was no different
to some of the others taken on the same camera on the same date but this
Premier just
did not want it there. So i deleted that photo and replaced with another
from the same camera and it saved. But when i played it back the new image
was there so too was the one i deleted.
Very odd.
