Purchasing DVD discs

Okay from previous discussions I am ready to buy Verbatim Data Life Plus with AZO dye -R but now am wondering what speed do I buy? 16x or 8x? Thanks

I use the 8X when I can get them, but have had success burning the 16X at 8X and 16X.
