Hello,

Thank you for your detailed reply. Unfortunately, your assumption that I am
referring to Adobe Premiere Pro was incorrect. I am referring to Adobe
Premiere Elements. I have lived all my editing life using Premiere
Elements, so it never occurred to me that my questions on this issue would
be interpreted as being for Premiere Pro. Had that occurred to me, I
certainly would have been more specific in describing my product.

So here we are. I'm still experiencing the same issue (but on Premiere
Elements, not Premier Pro.)

Do you have some idea for that situation?

Best regards,

Robert (RJ) Trede

I looked up your post in the Premiere Pro section (that you posted in bright red).  It said you are useing Premiere Elements 2018 and for Audio Output you change it in Windows settings.  On my Windows 11 computer with Premeire Elements version 2023, the Default Audio Output in the Premiere Elements Audio Hardware setting changes automatically (most of the time) when I switch from speakers to headphones and back.  I've never had to change settings in Windows to do that.  If my memory is working correctly (!) that was fixed in version 2022.  Before that, I had to do it manually.

You've begun a new thread but you're refering to an old topic, BlueIce.

Because of that, you're talking about an issue but we have no idea what it is.
