red video flickers

I made a one-hour video from several small videos. The small videos are OK, but there are red flickers in the new video and sometimes the video is "quicker" than the audio. The audio goes normally but the video is quicker and is repeating:( even I had not separated video and audio. Do you know where is the problem please? Maybe I cut the video quicker than it can read it? I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018, pc: HP Spectre x360, RAM 16 GB. Thank you

The danger with converting video is that you often convert it to a format that is even less compatible than what you originally started with.

I'd recommend you try converting the file with the excellent Handbrake. Set it for 1920x1080 30 fps MP4 video, and make sure it's set for constant rather than variable frame rate!

The resultant file should work just fine in Premiere Elements.

Most likely your source video had variable frame rate compression and/or used a non-camcorder compression.

Open one of the videos that gave you problems in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and paste the report it generates to this forum.

Once we know what the video was made of, we'll be better able to advise you.

BTW, you don't say which program you were using to play back your finished video or what format your finished video was in. But I highly recommend you use VLC Media Player as your media player. Windows Media Player and others have limitations which could be contributing to your problems.

Thanks for answering. There are more info about the problem:

- in VLC media players, there are still the red flickers and quicker

video than audio

- The small video I had made in OBS Studio 22.0.1. and I converted it to

mp4 and after that I made the "big video" from small videos and also

exported it as mp4
