Hi all,

I am working on a video of our band during a live concert and we have the sound recorded separately. Now I would like to synchronise the sound with th footage, but Adobe Premiere only allows me to shoft per 0,01 second, so I won't get the audio synchronised. Anyone have a solution how to change the settings of the timeline so that I can shoft the audio in a much more refined manner?

Thanks,

.01 seconds is one frame of video. I don't know that you can get more precise than that!

But, no, Premiere Elements won't get you more precise.

Adding to Steve's answer, automated audio syncing is in the land of higher priced editors like Premiere Pro.

That said, there is a technique using the (free) Audacity program.  There is a tutorial on YouTube:  Syncing Audio with Video Premier Elements.mpg - YouTube
