Rendered AVI files

Under my Adobe PE preview files folder I have a PRV folder and in it are rendered AVI files. When I select a file and input it into a DVD maker program I get the video portion but no sound. Is there a way to be able to also input the sound that is with that file?  This came from a PE 12 project

Greg_S. is right.

Those are just preview files.  You need to open the project and export a file if you wish to make a DVD.

@AZ Aurora , you have posted in the Photoshop Elements forum.  I will move this to the Premiere Elements forum where you will get more expertise to help you.

I don't claim to be a Premiere Elements expert but I believe you are using a temporary .avi render file that was used to speed up the preview playback of the edited project.  The video and sound tracks are rendered separately.  I don't think they are intended to be used in the manner of your intended workflow.

In any event, I'm sure the experts on the PRE forum will want to know what OS and version of Elements you currently have on your machine.  Although you indicate that the files came from an Elements 12 project, it's not clear whether you still have that program or another version currently.
