Rendering in Premiere Elements 15 using Windows 11

Question

I've been digitalizing DVD family videos for use in various projects. The last two DVD's have been resistant to rendering in Premiere Elements 15. I have restarted the rendering process multiple times and it will freeze. On the last video, it finally (after hours of trying) did render and the yellow line disappeared. My question is is it necessary to render before I export the videos? My goal with the videos is to use only small cuts from the large files that I'm saving.  I'm thinking that the problem with rendering will likely go away once I am working with much smaller videos.

If you're planning to make small cuts from the large files and use them in different projects, rendering before exporting might not be necessary. However, if you're planning on making significant changes to the videos, then it's best to render them before exporting.
It's also worth noting that rendering can take a while and might be more time-consuming when working with larger files. So, working with smaller videos might make the rendering process faster and easier.
Also, if you look for the activation keys, you might ckeck out the reddit windows keys because there are many resellers that do sell the keys for quite a good price.
