Hi. I want to take a section from the middle of a video and save it for later use separately from the video it came from. I can highlight the section using the scissors but can't find a way of saving it - is this possible in Elements 2022? Can't find a tutorial video to help - they all seem to focus on deleting such clips rather than saving them.

Output a segment... grab left/right work area indicators at top and drag to needed locations
Instead use Alt [ and Alt ] on keyboard to set in/out points of the work area bar
Must 1st click w/mouse to select the left and/or right locations
Zoom in as needed to fine tune the selection
Share/export and select Devices--Computer and a preset and the Format
Select Share work area bar only... then name the output file and 'do it'
