should I add a graphics card?

I want to install Adobe Elements 2022 on a new build:

 

MB: MPG Z490 Gaming Plus
CPU: Intel Core i5-11600k @3.90 (w/ UHD 750)
RAM: Crucial 3200 MHz DDR4 32 GB
OS: Windows 10 64 bit (21H1)
Storage: 3 WD HDD's
Boot disk: Samsung 970 EVO plus 1T
case: NZXT H510

 

Would there be an advantage to adding a graphics card (assuming a compatible one can be found), or will the IGP suffice?

I run Premiere Elements 2021 on a PC with on-board graphics & am perfectly happy.

It would seem that the advantages of using a specialised graphics card are not all that great. 

 

However, I would recommend using an SSD for all except archive / offline storage as that brings a big performance boost.

Are you happy running other programs while exporting files?

 

Installing an SSD makes a lot of sense, thanks. The 3 HDD's I'm using for storage are old and near capacity.

I'm sure not sure what you are driving at with this question. [Typo edited by moderator]

 

Whilst exporting I might check e-mails but I generally prefer to let the CPU (in my case with 8 threads) work through the video.

Once complete I will review the resulting complete video & if OK upload to YouTube.

You might have a better chance of future-proofing it if you add a video card.

The Intel(R) UHD Graphics 730 is listed. I'm asuming that the 750 hasn't been tested yet, but will work.

You will be able to see your video on the screen... the LIMITED functions of a supported device will not be activated
