Still image clips are black in exported video

I created a project with about 40 still image clips. They are all visible in the project timeline. In a final exported Mp3, three of the 40 still image clips display as black. Please help!

What is the difference between the three that are black and the rest?  What version are you using?  What is the source and specifications of the image files that work and don't work?  Are you sure you exported to an MP3 and not an MP4?  What are the project settings and export settings?

There is no difference - all the images are jpegs from Photoshop Elements. Exported to MP4, don't see option to export to MP3. Premier Elements 2023. There are many project and export settings....so not sure what to report

At the bottom of the Edit menu is "Project Settings" and a "General" page.  What is on it?

 

I asked about MP3 because that is what you wrote in your first post.  When you "Export" there are choices.  Which one did you chose?

 

Screen shots help see what you are doing.   

 

Can you upload one of the JPEGs that isn't working?
