Third file gets error message re Codec

Question

Win 10iTunes InstalledAPE 2019 I am loading three mp4 files to a project. All created in te same place, iPad camera.The third one gives me this error messageThid type of file is not suported or required Codec is not installed.Nothing has changed. How do I correct this? Thank you Cheers! Phil

Phil,

It sounds to me that your iPad took one of the clips in "HEVC". To check that you might try the (free) program MediaInfo, look at the tree view, cut and past the results here. The Apple HEVC codec was not in Premiere Elemenst untill versions 2020 and 2021. It would give you that code. iTunes has nothing to do with the Apple HEVC codec.
