time-remapping

Question

I have used time-remapping tool to change the speed of a section of a clip, I have then cut(scissor tool) the clip and gone back to edit the time remapping settings, PE now displays the error:

"We detect that the clip has already ben trimmed in an already created timezone, some parts of this clip may be disabled"

So I now can't edit or delete the timezone... short of re-importing the media what can I do?

I tried and failed to duplicate your situation.    If it were me, I would delete the clip from the timeline, replace it from the media panel (not reimport) and work on it with the Time Stretch too.   You should get similar results.   (I'm not sure why there are two tools for what seems to be the same task.)
