I just purchased Premeir Elements 2025 and am trying to create a time lapse video.  Load my pictures and right click on the time line.  Click on time stretch.   The speed of 100% is grayed out.  I cannot increase the speed as directed.  I change the duration to 005 and click on the chain.  Click on Save and it reverts back to the original settings.  I got it work once on the 2024 trail version after several trys but cannot get it to work now.

Stills dont have speed just duration.

You can only timestretch one still at a time.

You adjust the duration not the speed.

In the project window you can adjust duration of multiple images at the same time.

Select imagen and hit Ctrl+R

Use the Rate Strech tool from the tool box.

If you want to make a real timelaps make sure all your stills a sequential,

Select first image

Check Image sequence and hit OK

Now you will have all your images in movie file which can easily be adjusted.

Thank you.  I had sucess creating the time lapse in the 2024 version.  Purchased 2025.  the first photo above is what I am referring to.  The speed is gray.  I cannot make the change.   I change the speed from 4.25 to 005. Click save and it reverts to 4.25.  I have tried this linked and unlinked.   What am I missing.  I have 300 photos.

I will say this again: Still images (jpg, png etc )do not have speed just duration.!!!!!!!

You will have to change the duration of the still one by one.

Select one still on the timeline > right click > time stretch (shortcut ctrl+R) > set desired duration.

Post screenshot timeline.

You can't time stretch stills, only video.
