Trial Watermark will not go away despite purchase and troubleshooting
I got the trial version (Premiere Elements 2025), tried making some videos from still images and liked the functionality. I noticed the "This video was created on Premiere Elements free trial" banner and figured it would go away with purchase.
- I bought the full version and got into my files and the watermark was still there.
- I tried to delete the image and reload it
- I tried reloaded the image in a new file
- I deleted the rendered files for all projects and tried re-rendering the work area
- I have gone to the preferences and clicked the button to clear the Media Cache
- I also went to the directory folder on my computer and deleted the folder 'Adobe Premiere Elements Video Previews'
- I tried using a fresh file with a completely different image I had never used before and the watermark appears on that and any other content I import into the timeline
Watermark persists for any new vieo or project I start. Much like a someone who posted a while back, every time I run the program, I get the prompt to buy the full version, even though I have already bought it.
I suppose I could wait out the 7days until the trial expires and hope that the banner disappears and that my purchase is recognized, but I bought this for work and have time sensitive projects to get started on. I purchased the program and just want it to work as intended - any help is appreciated.
